The capital of Texas is a growing metropolis, with close proximity to important cities and Mexico. The city of Austin is in need of a recreational park with lots of entertainment and attractions. As a result, expanding out of the city towards Pflugerville, which welcomes us with plenty of space and a park named Austin’s that is now being repurposed into the theme park Texas needs.
Austin's Park is in need of a rebranding as the city prepares to make a good impression on newcomers and the community. What better way to commemorate the occasion than with a theme park featuring iconic Texas sights and experiences. It will also include thematic imagery representing its major cities: Austin, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, El Paso, and Amarillo, producing a tour of the state.
The South is a special place. And when you're in the South, you want to be surrounded by people who understand how special it is—and how to make the most of it. Howdy Texas a theme park that offers so much history, culture, and adventure on every corner. And now we're ready to share it with you!
This project introduced me to environmental design; therefore, what I value most is the experience of experimenting with wayfinding and bringing more of an architectural eye to create not only a visually appealing but also successful design that directs and informs people while carrying the brand at its best.
For this project, I would have liked to experiment with more digital experiences as well as learn more about the park's users' needs. Similarly, I would have liked to use 3D techniques for EGD to better showcase the end results on site.
